October 12th is World Arthritis Day, and Premier Care in Bathing’s staff will transform into a “Blue Crew” dressing head to toe in blue, even sporting blue hair do’s and footwear. The event will serve as the finale for a fundraiser raffle held through the month of October in which one team member will receive two tickets to a performance of the Blue Man Group. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation in the United States and the Arthritis Society in Canada.

Taking last year’s event to new heights, Premier Care will incorporate participation in the European League Against Rheumatism’s (EULAR) campaign to “Move to Improve,” in which people worldwide are waving to show their support and contribute to the overall goal to create a photomontage of 100,000 individuals. EULAR is asking everyone to take photographs or videos waving their hands or waving flags to call attention to this important cause. The Bake Sale and Karaoke lunch events were well attended and served as the precursor to the Let’s Move Together Walk.  Premier employees joined in the fun by bringing in baked goods and serving lunch while co-workers sang karaoke.  The next day the team attended the Walk, all in the spirit of giving.  Together the team raised over $400 in donations to help the Arthritis Foundation.
